Item
Item is the software arm of UNIS, the 3PL serving Walmart, Amazon, Samsung, Lenovo, and others across 50+ US facilities. I led the rebrand from Opera8, the marketing-site IA, and the frontend rebuild — tightening the sign-up path and raising enterprise adoption.
The transformation of Item has been extensive. Formerly known as Opera8, the company recently changed its title to Item. This change brought a new design direction, and after many iterations, we eventually made a product that satisfied stakeholders and customers. During this company-wide rebrand, I worked with 2 other UX Designers to create a streamlined customer experience for their company website.
Phase One
Brand Evolution
Phase Two
Selling the Product
The revamped Item with more time spent on planning, user research, and demonstrating products through persuasive value propositions. I led the prototyping, interaction design, front-end development, 2D animation, and built a Help Center for software documentation.
